If you're interested in a dog you see here, please email questions@houndshaveninc.com or call (740) 733- 8546 and mention the dog you are interested in.  If you don't see anything that interests you on this site, there are many, many other dogs and cats at the shelter.  When calling, please remember, we receive an extraordinary amount of phone calls each day, so please leave a message with a description of what you are looking for, and if we can help you in any way, we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Shelby

       She came from a situation in which she was tied with a 3 foot chain that was also used as her collar and had grown into her neck and had to be removed.  She  is great with everyone very friendly around 3 years old.

Sandy

      She was adandoned in a rural area just a day before she gave birth to 7 puppies under the hedges in a yard.  The puppies are probably mostly Lab and very cute they will need homes. Sandy is a very nice dog probably Lab mix appears to be housebroken a little shy but very affectionate and loves to go for walks on her leash.  We are guessing she was abandoned because someone did not want her because she was going to have puppies.

The puppies can be looked at now and chosen for adoption and gotten when they are ready to leave. Must agree to spay/neuter agreement on puppies and a Veterinarian reference is required before an adoption can be finalized.
